TECHNICAL COMMITTEE No. 13 (CT-13) BUREAU MEETING ON HALAL STANDARDS

The technical committee no. 13 bureau whose main role is the formulation of standards on halal products held on December 20, 2018. The bureau’s proceeding was chaired by Mr. NANA BACHIROU who doubles as the committee’s president and the representative of SOACAM S.A. Company. The agenda was focused on taking stock on the development of a financial strategy.

Thus members of TC-13 bureau agreed to set up a strategy for financing the committee's activities starting 2019 and in particular through identifying key and potential players of the sector likely to contribute financially. To achieve this, the Chairperson of the Committee requested that an operating budget be developed for 2019 as well as a list of draft Halal Cameroonian Standards.
