In order to improve Pre-shipment conformity Assessment Program (PECAE) whose pilot phase will soon come to end, Standards and Quality Agency (ANOR) and her technical partner SGS organized in Douala a sensitization seminar for the administrations and technical structures involved in the program from November 13th to 16th, 2018. Attending massively at the meeting were the officials and agents from the General Directorate of Customs, One stop shop for Foreign Trade Operations (GUCE), Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNCC), MINMIDT Littoral Regional Delegation, MINCOMMERCE, MINADER and MINSANTE.

The organization of this campaign seminar was aimed at informing, training and sensitizing the administrations and technical Structures on PECAE procedures. It was also intended to explain the role that each partner has to play in the implementation of the program to improve the effectiveness of its operation. For four days, experts from ANOR and SGS presented the program and its procedures to the participants. The seminar equally offered an opportunity to present products submitted to PECAE because of the mandatory nature of their standards.
