The General Manager of Standards and Quality Agency (ANOR), wishes to inform all stakeholders of standardization that, in conformity with Law No 96/11 of 05 August 1996 on standardization, Decree N ° 2009 / 296 of 17 September 2009 creating the Agency for standards and Quality and to be consistent with the "Code of good practice for the preparation, adoption and application of standards" of the World Trade Organization (WTO), draft Cameroonian standards adopted by Technical Committees (TC) on standardization; TC 01: Administration, Education and Training, TC 08 : Tourism and related services (04 PNC), Sub technical committee (STC) 02.4: whitewash, Cement and derivatives (11 PNC), TC 21: packaging, industrial packaging and bottling (20 PNC) and TC 62: petroleum products (06 PNC), will be submitted to public inquiry for a period of three months, from publication of this press release before 15th  February 2017.

The aim of this operation is to offer an opportunity to stakeholders and interested parties to examine the technical content and relevancy of the said projected standards.

Businessmen, public administrations, civil society and other interested stakeholders in this activity can consult ANOR website for the list of draft standards submitted to public survey.

All suggestions and recommendations must be in writing and sent to ANOR by post or email to the addresses indicated below :

After examination of the results indicated by public inquiry and consideration of relevant proposals, the draft standards will be attributed Cameroonian standards status.
